About Me

I have been in the field since 2002 and earned my MSW from Fordham University.  I have been practicing in a variety of settings with particular focus in trauma and substance use issues.

I previously worked as the Senior Social Worker at the Community Counseling and Mediation Mental Health and Substance Abuse Clinics practicing individual and family therapy with children, adolescents and adults. I also worked as a Clinical Social Worker at Long Island College Hospital Rape Crisis Intervention/Victims of Violence Program practicing individual and group therapy to survivors of rape, incest, and domestic violence and worked in the hospital's Emergency Department providing crisis intervention and advocacy to survivors of rape and domestic violence.  I also worked St. Luke's Hospital Hospital Women's Health Project, which was an outpatient program with specific focus on providing individual and group treatment to those who have a history of childhood trauma and addiction.

I completed the One-Year Evening Program at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies in 2008, and graduated from the NIP 4-Year Training Program in Adult Psychoanalysis and Comprehensive Psychotherapy in 2015.  I am presently in a full-time private practice.
